About Us

StS Precision Testing & Analysis was established by Mr. Timothy Baker over 18 years ago, as a Research Consulting Firm in Central New York.

As a company, StS Precision Testing & Analysis has worked with the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory at Rome, New York, in the development of “Communications-on-the-Move” and the advancement of satellite communications.

StS Precision Testing & Analysis has worked with NASA on the advancement of Ka-Band satellite communications and Cryogenic Vacuum Space Simulation.

Through StS Precision Testing & Analysis and the USAF Research Laboratory, Mr. Baker has assisted the Navy in the study of Optical Scattering at 10.6μm wavelengths.

Several times throughout the course of our commitment to our clients, we have assisted in real-world “war-games” to prove, implement and advance the technologies developed for and by different Government Agencies of the United States.

Currently, Mr. Baker is a co-inventor on an Apparatus and Method for a Multi-Channel, Multi-User Wireless Intercom, US Patent No.: US 6,952,590 B2 under the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Baker is also a co-inventor on a second device with the US Air Force, (Patent Pending), that deals with Aircraft Ground Support Equipment.

Mr. Baker was educated in New York State, attending the State University at Delhi, New York and then transferring to the campus at the State University of Utica/Rome.

Mr. Baker has been a resident of New York State for the past 25 years and believes that the Central New York area is a fine place to advance technical innovation, yet serene enough to lose one’s self in the abundant beauty and vast history.
